Good Agricultural and Good Handling Practices Workshop

Fresh fruits and vegetables most often are grown in an open environment where there are multiple opportunities for exposure to microbi-ological and chemical hazards. The purpose of this course/workshop is to introduce the Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and Good Handling/Manufacturing Practices (GHPs/GMPs) programs to Mississippi's produce industry so that producers can develop and implement farm food safety plans which prepare them for GAPs/GHPs certification.
